Your blood work helps determine the right plan for you

Have you complained to your doctor about your weight loss struggles but they didn’t seem to listen? Just because your blood work comes back ‘normal’ doesn’t mean there’s not room for improvement. I can review your most recent lab results or run blood work from my office to get a clear picture of what’s going on with your body. From there we can look at ways to optimize your health and weight loss efforts. How you feel is just as important as what the numbers may say.

Weight loss injections and balancing your hormones to help you lose weight

You’ve probably heard some of the commercials — Semaglutide, GLP-1s, Ozempic, Zepbound, Tirzepatide, Wegovy, and others. Medical weight loss injections go by many names.

Glucagon-like peptide-1, most often recognized as GLP-1, is a naturally occurring hormone from our lower GI tract. It helps reduce our hunger, allowing us to take in less calories, and it helps our stomachs empty slower, making us feel fuller longer.

Hormones, vital chemical messengers throughout our body, can become unbalanced as we age. This can have unwanted effects on our metabolism, hunger, and sense of feeling satisfied after a meal, as well as loss of energy or decreased sex drive.

If you’ve had recent labs taken we can review them or I can submit a sample to a lab for us to see where your body is currently and how we can optimize your hormones to make you feel better. This includes reviewing your insulin levels, A1C, thyroid hormones, estrogen, and testosterone levels.
